Monthanus Ratanapakdee
Independent leadership for a safer, cleaner, stronger San Francisco.

Meet Monthanus
I am a longtime San Francisco resident, a mother, and a community advocate. I have spent years working alongside families, seniors, and neighborhood groups to make our communities safer, cleaner, and more livable.
I did not come to public life through politics, but through service and lived experience.
After the tragic loss of my father, Vicha Ratanapakdee, to violence on San Francisco’s streets, I turned grief into action. I stepped forward to advocate for public safety, accountability, and dignity for elders and families—listening to residents and pushing City Hall to respond to real neighborhood needs.
I believe leadership should be independent, practical, and rooted in the community—not driven by political insiders or special interests. I am running for Supervisor to bring a steady, people-first voice to City Hall and deliver real results for District 2.
